The name "Knoll Tremain" might ring a bell to any Sharlayan who lived in the old city over thirty summers past. Once an eminent scholar of the Void and Mhachi history, the Veena vanished on an expedition with not a soul having seen hide nor hair of him ever since. Curious, then, that Knoll - or someone with his name - has cropped up so many years after the fact.

Spriggan King

Knoll is rarely safe from the company of a trio of spriggans. These geomanic soulkin obey his every command... Or try their best, at least. Affectionately referring to them as his "little migraines", Knoll seems equal parts happy and vexed to have them ever in his shadow.

Lepus ex Mhachi-na

There's vanishingly little that Knoll doesn't know about the civilization of Mhach. From a familiarity with old and oft-forgotten rites to a penchant for a suspiciously potent brand of Thaumaturgy, he could almost pass as a relic of the doomed city himself.
